Beavers Trip Up 'Roos In Regular Season Opener
The UMKC men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Oregon State in its regular season opener on Wednesday night at Durwood Soccer Stadium and Recreational Field. The Beavers notched a pair of goals over a 10-minute stretch in the second half en route to their first victory of the season.
Sosa And UMKC Soccer Have Come A Long Way Together
When midfielder John Bayron Sosa arrived at UMKC, the Kangaroos didn't have a soccer field to call their own. They didn't have their own locker room, weight room, or even a place to shower. That was 2007. Three years later, Sosa and his teammates will dress in a pro-caliber locker room and open the 2010 season at 7 p.m. tonight against Oregon State at UMKC's state-of-the-art, $9 million Durwood Soccer Stadium that the Kangaroos have called home since last year.

The UMKC men's soccer team closed out its exhibition season with a 2-0 loss to No. 14/16 Drake on Friday night at Durwood Soccer Stadium and Recreational Field. The Bulldogs notched a pair of second half goals in a six minute span en route to the victory.
